The undersigned hereby makes application, according to provisions of The Electrical Licensing Act for an Electrical Limited Contractor's Licence.

i. No holder of an Electrical Limited Contractor’s Licence shall require or permit any person other than a journeyperson to perform any work of electrical installation except as an assistant to, and under the supervision of, the holder of the Electrical Limited Contractor’s Licence who is continuously engaged on the same piece of work.

ii. No person other than a journeyperson shall perform any electrical work for a holder of an Electrical Limited Contractor’s Licence except as an assistant to, and under the supervision of, the holder of the Electrical Limited Contractor’s Licence who is continuously engaged on the same piece of work.

iii. NO HOLDER OF A LIMITED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR'S LICENCE SHALL CARRY ON BUSINESS WITHIN A CITY. THE CONTRACTOR MUST RESIDE IN THE TOWN/COMMUNITY IN WHICH THEY ARE LICENSED.

Licensed qualifying electrical journeyperson cannot be employed by any other licensed electrical contractor or licensed electrical employer while they are listed on the contractor's list of employed journeyperson.

Bond Information

i. The applicant for the Electrical Limited Contractor's Licence must provide a guarantee bond in the penal sum of $10,000 or $30,000 to the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan. (Such a bond is available from any insurance company licensed in Saskatchewan).

ii. If the applicant is using a trading/business name, this name must appear on the electrical limited contractor's guarantee bond. e.g. Tim Tully O/A Tim's Electric OR Tim's Electric O/B

iii. The original guarantee bond issued must be submitted with the Electrical Limited Contractor's Licence
Application when applying for an Electrical Limited Contractor’s Licence and signed by at least one person on
behalf of the company.

iv. A photocopy is not acceptable; a scanned electronic copy is acceptable.
