Length of Extension

The maximum extension time will be up to 120 days, and is up to the discretion of the inspector. Notification will be made following the review of the application

As per the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act, 1999 all persons engaged in the business of constructing, installing, altering or repairing boilers, pressure vessels, fittings, pressure piping systems or refrigeration plants, must hold a valid contractor's licence. This licence may be issued under the extension and coincides with the Quality Control Program Certificate of Registration expiration date, based on information submitted for the extension.
