Re-Application of Home/Farm Owner Electrical Wiring Permit

This application is restricted to a single phase non-hazardous electrical installation not exceeding 200 amps or 300 volts between phase conductors. Electrical work exceeding 200 amps or 300 volts, polyphase, hazardous locations, renewable energy systems, EV chargers, battery storage installations or generators must be performed by a Licensed Saskatchewan Electrical Contractor.

To be eligible for an Electrical Wiring Permit, you must agree with the following:
• I am the owner and occupant of the property, which is a single-family dwelling, detached house that is intended for the use of one family.
• I am not preparing the premises for sale or rent.
• I have not held a permit for the complete wiring of a residence in the last 12 months.
• I agree to perform all the work to the requirements of the current Canadian Electrical Code and Saskatchewan Interpretations.
• I understand that it is unlawful for any person outside the permit holder’s immediate family to undertake any part of the work of the installation to which this permit applies.
• I agree to make arrangements for a rough-in and final inspection of the the work done under this permit.

To the best of my knowledge, this application is accurate. I understand that a false or misleading statement in this application or in any of the reference or other evidence or qualification submitted by myself or on my behalf may result in the Chief Inspector denying this application.
